Manage HR admins

In this article, we'll walk through how to make someone an HR admin. HR admins have administrative permissions in Engagement that allow them to manage Engagement feature settings, create and manage engagement campaigns, and view all engagement survey results. They can also view and manage demographic attributes and run reports that contain demographic information. Only Account admins can be appointed as HR admins.

Make someone an HR admin

  1. Click on the Settings gear in the top, right-hand corner of your 15Five account.

  2. Select 'People' from the dropdown menu. You'll land on the 'Manage people' page.
  3. Use the search bar to look up the person you want to make an HR admin.
  4. Click on the person's name to open their account settings.
  5. Under the 'Permissions' header on the account settings page, check the box to the left of 'HR administrator'.
  6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
  7. The person will immediately be granted HR admin permissions and will appear with an "HR admin" badge on the 'Manage people' page.

Configure Engagement feature settings

HR Admins have Engagement Admin permissions by default, meaning they can configure settings for the Engagement feature.

Create and manage engagement campaigns

HR Admins have Engagement Admin permissions by default, meaning they can create engagement campaigns and make edits to existing campaigns.

View all results for an engagement campaign

HR Admins have Engagement Admin permissions by default. This means they have full results access for engagement campaigns (in other words, they can view all organization results).

Enable/disable demographic attributes

HR admins see the ability to enable demographic attributes in company feature overview settings:

If demographic attributes are enabled, HR admins can see demographic attributes on user settings pages:

HR admins can filter the 'Submitted Check-ins' and 'Reviewed Check-ins' reports by demographic attribute:
