Send an external high five

We know the power of recognition is powerful, so we make it easy to give high fives to external email addresses. This ability allows you to recognize teammates who aren't a part of your organization's 15Five instance, or individuals from other organizations altogether.

How to give a High Five 🖐

The High Fives Feed contains all of the high fives that people in your organization have given to each other. You can give a high five from the feed using the steps below.

  1. Click Manager Tools in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.
  2. Click High Fives in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.
  3. Find the text box at the top of the screen under "Give a High Five." @mention the appropriate person, group, or external email address, then type your high five.

  4. If desired, use a company value in your high five by typing # and selecting the company value from the dropdown menu.

  5. Click the High Five! button.

  6. The recipient(s) will be notified and the high five will appear in the High Fives feed.

How to send an external High Five 🖐️

  1. Click High Fives in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation to open the High Fives Feed.

  2. Find the text box at the top of the screen under "Give a High Five." @mention external email address, then type your high five.

  4. The recipient will receive an email notification from notifications@15five.com with the subject line, "You received a High Five!" Clicking Reply to this High Five will open a blank email with your email address as the recipient.
