We've been listening closely to your feedback and made a few key updates to Best-Self Review this week. Check out the details below!
Create your own private manager assessment
The default 15Five private manager assessment are four future-focused questions designed to reduce the idiosyncratic rater effect. To reliably measure individual performance, team leaders are asked not about the skills of each team member but about their own future actions with respect to that person. In effect, asking team leaders what they would do with each team member rather than what they think of that individual.
But we understand that not all companies wish to measure performance in this way. That's why we've added the flexibility for review admins to create their own private manager assessment within a question template.

Edit manager reviews
After both the self and manager reviews have been submitted, and answers have been discussed during the final meeting, we heard that often managers need to revise their original answers now that more context has been provided.
Managers can now edit answers from the manager review before the results from the reviews have been shared.

Re-ordering question templates
This was a much needed usability update to allow review admins to re-order questions within their Best-Self-Review question templates. Simply drag-and-drop the questions into the order you want them to display when completing a Best-Self Review.
