15Five Releases - May 30, 2019

1-on-1s are a cornerstone of employee engagement and productivity. Gallup has found that employees are 3x more likely to be engaged at work if they have managers who hold regular meetings with them.

With that in mind, we built 1-on-1s in 15Five. 1-on-1s provide employees and managers with a simple way to plan and execute meetings effectively. It works great, and we know you love it!

We also recognize that your employees aren't only meeting with their managers; sometimes teammates need to have 1-on-1s too. We heard this feedback often: you want your employees to have the most productive meetings possible, regardless of who the meeting is with.

Introducing 1-on-1's with Anyone

You heard us right! Now all employees can have 1-on-1s with anyone- managers, teammates, co-workers, managers who aren't the reviewer, etc. 

Getting setup

By default, the 1-on-1s with anyone feature is turned off. This is to allow you to control if/when this feature is rolled out to your organization. When you're ready, it's effortless to turn the feature on.

1️⃣ Head over to settings for 1-on-1s.

2️⃣ Choose the “Employees can have 1-on-1s with anyone in the organization" setting.

3️⃣ Save!

Creating 1-on-1s

From the 1-on-1s page, employees can view all 1-on-1s that they are involved in and can create new 1-on-1s by searching through the company directory.

Everything else (talking points, action items, ending 1-on-1s, etc) works just as it did before, simple and effective. We look forward to your people enjoying effective 1-on-1 meetings with anyone!
