15Five Releases - June 25, 2019

We're putting the custom in 'Custom reports' this time around. Because we know how important it is for you to be able to generate custom reports within 15Five, we know that you need more flexibility with running these reports. The goal is to make custom reports work for each of you, so we've made a few little tweaks that will help get the data you need- in a jiffy. πŸ₯œ

Multiple questions on a custom report

One custom report on a question down, 12 to go.... Running custom reports one question at a time worked for some people, but was less than ideal for others. The ability to run a custom report on multiple questions at the same time has been heavily requested.

Dun dun dun dunnnnnnnn! πŸ₯πŸ™ŒπŸ½

We are very excited to announce that one custom report can be run to include multiple questions. You got it- one report, multiple questions.

Select the questions you'd like to be included your custom report. Answers for all of the selected questions will be displayed on the report preview and will be available to download via CSV, just as they are today.

You might notice that there are a limited number of questions appearing on your 'Create a new custom report' screen. This is by design and allows us to only show questions answered within the time period you've chosen to run the report on- basically we hope this visibility will make finding the question you're looking for a little easier. It will also help by removing any questions from the list that aren't relevant or don't contain data for your search.

Comments in CSV download

Another small improvement to custom reports: We redesigned of how comments are displayed in the downloaded CSV file. Prior to today, we've included all comments in the same cell (within the CSV export). Now we split each comment/answer into its own cell, making it much easier to consume and analyze. πŸ”

Optional fields for export

By default, we include a lot of fields in a custom report. Not all of these fields are necessary for your report, and ultimately not all of the columns are necessary for your CSV download. Similar to other export options in app, we added optional fields for custom reports. Feel free to select the fields that you need, and leave the ones you don't.

🌟 We'll even remember your selection for the next time you run that report.
