Configure MS Teams for High Fives

Our integration with MS Teams brings High Fives to where you are already working- MS Teams, specifically. The integration gives you more visibility into High Fives that are being sent and received across your organization in real-time and makes it even easier to send a High Five in the moment, while amplifying and strengthening your culture from anywhere.

High Fives in MS Teams is only the beginning for this integration. We have plans to continue to build further functionality.

Enable MS Teams integration

1. Click on the Settings menu at the upper right corner of your 15Five account.

2. Select Features from the dropdown menu.

3. At the bottom of the page, click 'Integrations'.

4. Click on 'Enable' to the right of the MS Teams option.

5. Confirm that you would like to enable the integration by clicking on the orange Enable Microsoft Teams button.

6. Look for the green banner confirming the integration has been enabled.

That is all for the steps in 15Five. Next up, everyone at your company who plans to use the MS Teams integration will need to take the following steps in order to view and give High Fives.

View and give High Fives in MS Teams

7. Now head on over to MS Teams and find the 15Five app in your top tab bar.

Make sure you are in the 'Teams' section of your Microsoft app.

8. Click to open the 15Five tab and then click the orange 'Sign in to your account' button.

9. Enter in your company's subdomain. If your company does not have a subdomain, you can click sign in without subdomain or enter 'my'.

10. Use your 15Five credentials to sign in. By signing in to 15Five here, you are allowing MS Teams to read information from your 15Five account- High Five information to be exact.

11. After signing in, the 15Five tab will show High Fives. You will notice that your window looks a lot the High Five Dashboard.

12. In order to give a High Five, start typing your message and @mention the person/people. The process for giving a High Five via MS Teams is the same as via the High Five Dashboard.

13. Click the orange 'High Five!' button at the bottom of the text field.

14. VoilĂ - your High Five is now visible in the MS Teams High Five Feed.

Troubleshooting MS Teams issues

Why don't I see the 15Five app in Microsoft Teams?

If you've already installed MS Teams on 15Five's website by following the steps outlined above, this is likely an issue on Microsoft's end, potentially dealing with how your company has the MS Teams integration set up. Here's an article from Microsoft's Help Center that walks through troubleshooting and resolving this issue. If you need to contact Microsoft's Support Team, you can do so via this link.
