Manager Onboarding into Kona

Once your HR team selects you for Kona coaching, you'll receive an invitation to get started via Slack and email. Your invite includes a brief introduction to Kona, your assigned coaching focus area (set by HR), and a direct link to begin setup.

During onboarding, you’ll be prompted to:

  • Connect your Google Calendar
  • Select which recurring 1-on-1 meetings to sync, and
  • Confirm your 15Five 1-on-1s or link them to your synced calendar events.

🌟 Why this matters: Completing these steps allows Kona to show up in your meetings, observe patterns, generate summaries, and offer just-in-time coaching—all without you having to lift a finger.

Once onboarding is complete, Kona will start joining your selected meetings automatically and begin delivering value directly in your flow of work. It's as simple as that!
