15Five gives you the ability to search and filter your 1-on-1 content. Maybe you want to pull up a list of all action items you've been assigned in 1-on-1s with your manager over the past month. Maybe you want to search through all of your 1-on-1s for a specific keyword to find context about a conversation you remember having, but can’t quite remember the details about. Or maybe you want to pull up all private notes you made on 1-on-1s with one of your direct reports to aid you as you're filling out their manager review in a Best-Self Review® cycle. The 'Searchable 1-on-1s' feature enhancement makes it easy for you to do all these things and more.

Search my 1-on-1s
- Click 1-on-1s in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation bar.
- Enter the term you want to search for in the ‘Enter a keyword’ field.
- You’ll be directed to the 1-on-1s search page, which will show all 1-on-1 agendas that match your search query. If you need to narrow down results, you can use filters at the top of the page to limit the 1-on-1s that will be searched. Filters are discussed in more detail in the next section of this article.
Search Filters
This section walks through the filters that are available to you as you search your 1-on-1s.
The 'Keyword' filter is exactly what it sounds like— it allows you to search through 1-on-1s for a specific keyword. Select a keyword as close as possible to what you're looking for, and the closest and best matches will appear at the top of the page.
This filter allows you to search through all 1-on-1s held with either one specific person or multiple people. The dropdown menu will be populated with all individuals you have held 1-on-1s with in the past.
Use the 'Content type' filter to search different parts of 1-on-1 agendas. You can search talking points, action items, notes, and/or comments.
- Note: Selecting the 'Notes' content type will return shared and private notes that match the other filters you selected. Private notes are only visible to the person that wrote them.
- Comment: Selecting the 'Comment' content type will return all comments on talking points or action items that match the other filters you selected.
- Action item: Selecting the 'Action item' content type will return all action items that match the other filters you selected.
- Talking point: Selecting the 'Talking point' content type will return all talking points that match the other filters you selected.
The Start and End date filters allow you to search only 1-on-1s that were ended or scheduled within a certain period of time. For example- if you select a start date of September 1st, 2021 and an end date of September 27th, only 1-on-1s that were ended or scheduled between those dates will appear in search results.
Note
The date filters are only for 1-on-1s that have been ended or scheduled. Leave these filters blank if you are looking for unscheduled 1-on-1s.
