Templates define the structure of an IDP, including which sections appear, what fields are available, and what default action items are included. Pre-built templates are available so teams don't have to start from scratch.

Create IDP template
- Click Growth Studio in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation, then select Plans.
- Click Templates and select Individual Development Plans.
- Click Create IDP template
- In the template form, fill out template Name, Intent, and Description.
- The template form also contains sections which can be arranged via drag and drop.
New sections can be added with the option to edit the Name, Description, and Visibility.
Visibility Includes (Restricted and Everyone with Access) - Once done click Create IDP Template
Manage IDP Templates
- Click Growth Studio in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation, then select Plans.
- Click Templates and select Individual Development Plans.
- On the right-hand side, you’ll find a three-dot menu with options to edit or delete IDP templates.
