Download Engagement+ survey results

✍️ Note: 15Five will be sunsetting our Engagement+ product in mid-2022 and replacing it fully with our new Engage feature (powered by Emplify, a 15Five brand). During this time we are no longer supporting Engagement+. If you're a new customer looking to launch an engagement survey for your organization, please click here to access information about our updated Engage feature.

Let's talk about how you, an account administrator or manager with visibility into an Engagement+ survey, can access and export survey results.

In this article, you will learn...

Results visibility

Account administrators can view the results of all Engagement+ surveys.

Managers can view the results for their team or hierarchy if viewing permissions were set to 'Admin and manager' when the survey was created.

Regardless of your role in 15Five and the settings selected during survey set up, all Engagement+ results are fully anonymous. Once the confidentiality threshold for submissions has been met, survey results will begin to populate.

Access survey results

1. Click on Engagement+ in 15Five's left-hand navigation bar.

3. You will be directed to the 'Summary' tab of survey results.

4. Once you've opened survey results, you can navigate through the 'Summary,' ' Themes,' and 'Comparison' tabs. As a quick snapshot...

  • The 'Summary' tab serves as a quick overview so you can understand the survey results at a high level. There are no unique downloads available in this tab.
  • The 'Themes' tab is your hub for breaking down and analyzing survey results. Use this section to see how your entire company performed in themes and/or questions. You can also break results down into different teams, hierarchies, and/or groups (as long as the number of people in the team, hierarchy, or group exceeds the survey's confidentiality threshold).
  • The 'Comparison' tab makes it easy for you to see how engagement and survey participation compared based on team, hierarchy, or group.

Access and download 'Themes' reports

  1. Click to open the 'Themes' tab.

  2. In this tab, there are two filter options. The 'People' filter allows you to filter results by direct reports, hierarchy, or group, whereas the 'View by' filter allows you to view results related to either Themes or Questions.

  3. Once you've applied desired filters, click Download in the top, right-hand corner of the screen. The download will reflect applied filters.

Access and download 'Comparison' reports

  1. Click to open the 'Comparison' tab.

  2. In this tab, there are two filter options.
    FilterOptionsComparison.png
The 'View by' filter allows you to filter by 'Managers,' 'Hierarchies,' or 'Group type.' Toggle between these filters to compare how different teams, hierarchies, or groups within group types answered questions in comparison to each other.
The 'People' filter allows you to filter results by direct reports, hierarchy, or group. This filter allows you to deep-dive into how sub-sections of people performed, as a person must match both the applied 'View by' and 'People' filters to appear in the report. Using this filter in conjunction with the 'View by' filter means that answers from only people who match both filters will appear in the report. For example, if you set your filters to: 'View by: Department' and 'People: New York Office', the report will be split into answer distribution for different departments in the New York Office only.
  3. Once you've applied desired filters, click Download in the top, right-hand corner of the screen. The download will reflect applied filters.

  4. We suggest renaming your download to reflect what filters were used. For example: NewYorkDepartmentsComparison.CSV or CompanywideManagerComparison.CSV.
