View and track action plans using the Actions Dashboard

Increasing employee engagement within your organization requires more than simply sending out an engagement survey. Driving positive change necessitates using engagement results to take action. In this article, we'll walk through 15Five's Actions Dashboard: a tool designed to empower leaders and teams by providing the capabilities to create, track, and manage actionable plans aimed at improving engagement drivers. With this intuitive dashboard, you can track action plans created in your organization, who owns action plans, and the tangible impact action plans have had on your organization's growth and success.

In this article, you will learn...

What are action plans?

Action plans are a tool within 15Five's Engagement feature that allows users to create specific, actionable plans that leaders can utilize to improve engagement drivers. Actions are tied to groups and owned by the person who creates the action.

During the process of creating an action plan, an individual is presented with suggested drivers to create actions for based on group survey results. Once they select a driver, they can choose from a list of actions that have proven effective in improving their chosen engagement driver— making it easy to take data-driven action.

Groups who log an action directed toward improving a driver are proven to see a score increase for their team. That said, we recommend having leaders commit to an action following each engagement campaign. Learn how to create an action plan.

Navigate the Actions Dashboard

The Actions Dashboard, accessible by clicking "Actions" in the main, left-hand navigation of the Engage Portal, contains three sections: Overview, My actions, and All action plans.

Overview

The Overview section reports on action progress in the organization.

The bar graph at the top of the page displays the number of users 1) with results access, 2) who have logged in to view engagement campaign results, and 3) who have logged an action.
