Visibility into Performance Ratings
- Review Admins and Cycle Collaborators can view performance ratings for all participants.
- Managers can view performance ratings for their direct reports.
- If hierarchy visibility is enabled, skip-level managers can view ratings for their reporting hierarchy.
- If participant visibility is enabled, participants can see their own performance rating.

Use Performance Ratings+ Reporting
- Click Performance in the left navigation and select Best-Self Review®.
- Open the relevant review cycle.
- Open the Company’s results or Team’s results tab.
- Scroll to the Performance Ratings+ section on the Summary tab.

Apply filters to analyze specific cohorts.
- Use People to filter by individual or hierarchy.
- Use Demographics & People Data to filter by demographic attributes.

- Use Compare by Attribute to analyze ratings side by side.
- Click the three dots → View score distribution to open the details page.
Use the Performance Ratings Details Page
This page lets you break down, compare, and track performance ratings over time.

Apply filters to narrow results.
- Groups: hierarchy or department
- Review cycles: select one or more cycles
- Ratings: focus on a specific rating
- Review reports such as Score Distribution, Compare Groups, and Trends Over Time.
Available Downloads
Multiple downloadable reports are available from both the Summary page and the Performance Ratings+ details view, including score distributions, group comparisons, participant-level data, and trends over time.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How are performance ratings calculated?
Ratings are calculated using your custom PR+ formula, normalizing scores across question scales.
Note
A minimum value of 1 is used to prevent skewing normalized scores.
Can I change a performance rating manually?
No. Performance ratings are automatically calculated.
Tip
To give managers more influence, include a Private Manager Assessment question in your PR+ formula.
