Edit or Archive an Action Plan

Edit an Action Plan

  1. Click Outcomes Dashboard in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.

  2. Open the "Action Plans" tab.

  3. Find the Action Plan you want to edit, then click View Action Plan.

  4. Click on the Settings gear in the top, right-hand corner of the Action Plan's header box. Select "Edit" from the dropdown menu.

  5. The "Edit action plan details" form will appear on the side of your screen. From here, you can edit all fields except the Target Group.

  6. When you're done making changes, click Save.

  7. Your changes will be immediately reflected in 15Five.

Add or delete an action in an existing plan

  1. Click Outcomes Dashboard in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.

  2. Open the "Action Plans" tab.

  3. Find the Action Plan you want to edit, then click View Action Plan.

  4. Click Add Actions at the top of the Actions section to open the he "Add action to action plan" form on the left-hand side of your screen.

  5. Select an action type.

    You can select from the following Action types:
    • Action Item: Assign a task for someone to complete.
    • Complete Course: Assign a course from Transform's on-demand course library.
    • Create Objective (Company, Group, Individual, or Self-Development): Assign the task of creating an OKR (Objective and Key Results).
    • Discussion: Assign a talking point to discuss in a 1-on-1 meeting or async.
  6. Provide a title & description for your action.

  7. Select a start date and due date for the action.

  8. Choose the managers you want to assign the action to.

    Tip

    Use the "Summary" section to see how many managers you're assigning the action to and the number of impacted people (i.e. direct reports those managers have).

  9. When you're done, click Add actions.

Archive an Action Plan

  1. Click Outcomes Dashboard in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.

  2. Open the "Action Plans" tab.

  3. Click the three dots in the top, right-hand corner of any drafted or in-progress Action Plan and select "Archive" from the dropdown menu.

  4. A warning will appear listing the implications of archiving the plan. Click Yes, archive Action Plan.

  5. The Action Plan is no longer active and associated Actions will be removed from manager homepages. Archived Action Plans can be accessed in the "Archived" section at the bottom of the Action Plans tab.
