How to create an Action Plan

Statements reporting Recommended areas for action
  1. Open the "Statements" tab of engagement reporting.
    Statements-Tab.png
  2. Here, you can access the statement heatmap, which shows you which survey statements had the biggest impact on your team's engagement, visualized by colors. Cells colored red indicate statements with negative impacts on engagement, that is, areas to improve. The darker a cell, the more it impacts engagement.

    ✏️

    Note

The numbers contained in these cells are called Predictive Impact Scores. These scores quantify how much a survey statement influences an employee group’s overall engagement score, generated by 15Five's AI-powered Predictive Impact Model.

  3. Use the "Pin statements" filter in the top, right-hand corner of the table to see high-impact statements.

    Tip

For the purposes of creating an Action Plan, it's helpful to select the "Top 5 negative impact" option, which displays the five statements with the most negative Predictive Impact Scores. These are the areas where low responses are detracting the most from engagement.

  4. Click on a cell in the heatmap to open the co-planner in your side panel, which will guide you through drafting an Action Plan. Then, click Draft action plan at the bottom of the co-planner.

  5. Follow the steps in the co-plannner. Once you've provided required information, click Yes, draft with recommended actions. These actions are meant as a starting point. You can add, delete, and edit actions before launching your plan.
