Add or remove a review cycle participant 🧑💻
Participants can be added to or removed from active or upcoming review cycles until the cycle's end date using the steps below. If you need to extend a cycle's end date, check out this article.
- Click Best-Self Review® in the left-hand navigation bar of 15Five.
- Click on the '...' to the right of the review cycle you want to manage participants for and select 'Manage participants' from the dropdown menu.
- Search for the name of the person you want to add or remove from the cycle. Or, click Filter by and use one of the following filters: 1) Participation status, 2) Group, or 3) Manager.
- Click '...' to the right of the name of the person you want to add to or remove from the review cycle.

To add a non-participant to the review cycle, select Add to cycle from the dropdown menu.
A confirmation will appear at the top of your screen, and the employee's participation status will update to "Participant."

To remove a participant from the review cycle, select Remove from cycle from the dropdown menu.
A pop-up will appear requiring additional confirmation. Click Remove X from the cycle.
A confirmation will appear at the top of your screen, and the employee's participation status will update to "Non-participant."
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) ❓
When you remove someone from a review cycle, they will no longer have reviews written about them. However, they may still be asked to write reviews about others.
For example, let's say you remove Seth from a review cycle. He won't complete a self-review and no one will be asked to write peer, manager, or upward reviews about Seth. However, Seth will still be asked to write a manager review about his direct report who is still a participant in the review cycle.
