If you want to receive updates on an objective you don't own, you can follow the objective. Following an objective allows you to receive notifications about updates to objective status and key results, enabling you to keep up-to-date on projects and make sure objectives stay top-of-mind.

Note
An account admin must enable the "Following objectives" option on the Objectives feature settings page for individuals to see the option to follow objectives.
How to follow an objective 🧑💻
- Click Objectives in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.
- You will land on the 'All objectives' page. From here, search for the objective you want to follow using the filters at the top of the page. For information on interacting with these filters, check out our "Find objectives using filters" article.
Note
You can only follow objectives that you have permission to view. If you can't find an objective that you want to follow, ask the owner to edit the objective and give you visibility.
- Click Follow to the far right of the objective you want to follow. The objective owner will receive a notification informing them you're following the objective.
- By default, when you start following an objective, you will receive objective-specific notifications. You can manage which notifications you receive in the "Following objectives" section of your notification settings.
How to see who is following an objective 👀
To see who is following an objective, open the objective and refer to the "Objective followers" section on the left-hand side, under the Objective owner section.
