Succession Nomination Templates

Succession Nominations are private, HR-led tool used to identify critical roles and build a talent bench for future planning. Succession planning often lives in executive decks and one-off conversations. This gives HR a structured, private process to document readiness and nominees — grounded in performance data already in 15Five. How to view, edit, and delete existing templates

Navigate to template page: 

  1. Select "Growth Studio" in left-hand navigation
  2. Click "Nominations"
  3. Toggle to the "Templates" tab 

The Nominations Templates page will display a list of your existing templates, and a button to create a new template. 

To the right of the existing template name you will see three dots, which when clicked will open up a menu with three options: 

  • View: Preview the template 
  • Edit: Rename the template, update, add, or remove questions  
  • Delete: Permanently delete a template. When you select this, a pop up will ask you to confirm deletion as the template is not recoverable after deletion. 

Create a new nomination template

  1. Select "Growth Studio" in left-hand navigation
  2. Click "Nominations"
  3. Toggle to the "Templates" tab 
  4. Click the "Create Template" button
  5. Choose a name for your template
  6. Add question text
  7. Select question type
    1. Text
    2. Yes/No
    3. Opinion scale
    4. Multiple choice
  8. Indicate whether you want question required or optional
  9. You can continue to add questions by selecting the "add question" button. You can delete a question form the template by selecting the trash can icon next to the question
  10. Once done, select "Create template"
