Configure Performance Ratings+ for a review cycle

Attaching a performance ratings formula and rubric to a review cycle tells 15Five how to calculate and label participant scores when reviews are submitted. Complete these steps before the cycle launches, or before the first review is submitted if the cycle is already active.

Before You Begin

  • You must have a performance ratings formula saved in your account. Use the pre-built 15Five Performance Framework or create a custom formula.
  • You must have a performance ratings rubric saved. Use the pre-built 15Five Recommended Performance Rubric or create a custom rubric.
  • If the cycle is active, you must act before any participant submits a review. After the first submission, formula and rubric settings are locked.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Reviews in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the review cycle you want to configure.
  3. Click Settings within that cycle.
  4. Scroll to the Performance Ratings+ section.
  5. Click the Formula dropdown and select your formula.
  6. Click the Rubric dropdown and select your rubric.
  7. Click Save.

To update settings on an active cycle (before first submission)

  1. Open the active review cycle in Reviews.
  2. Click Edit cycle settings or Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Performance Ratings+ section.
  4. Select the updated Formula and/or Rubric from the dropdowns.
  5. Click Save.
