The new AI Assisted Reviews Agent is a ground-up rebuild of how 15Five helps managers write and share better performance reviews in less time. Instead of starting from a blank page, reviewers begin with a draft already grounded in real evidence: 1:1 notes, check-ins, goals, peer feedback, and signals from connected work tools like Slack, Asana, and Google Calendar across the full review period.
The beta program gives early access to try it with your team, work closely with us through your review cycle, and help shape what it becomes before it's available to everyone.

What's different from the current AI Assist in reviews
If you're currently using the existing AI Assisted reviews experience, that experience stays exactly as it is until you're accepted into the beta.
The new AI Assisted Reviews experience is a significant step beyond that. Here's what's new:
- Reflect: Moments before you write. Before drafting anything, reviewers step through Moments — specific, sourced performance signals assembled from across the full review period. You confirm what's relevant, and the draft draws only from what you keep.
- Write: A full draft, not just suggestions. Once you've reviewed your Moments, 15Five generates structured draft answers across all review questions. You edit and own the final version.
- Check: See how it lands before you submit. A preview shows you the review from the recipient's perspective before it goes out, along with a quality summary flagging things like specificity, tone consistency, and bias patterns.
- Discuss: A conversation guide for managers. After submitting, managers get a structured prep workspace for the review conversation: what to focus on, suggested talking points, and a space to draft the employee's IDP.
Who is eligible
The beta is open to customers on Total Platform and Perform plans who have access to Reviews. We're accepting customers on a rolling basis, prioritizing those with upcoming review cycles.
How to sign up
You can sign up for the beta directly from this page using the included form, or from inside 15Five on the Agents Hub or your Reviews homepage.
We'll ask for your email, your company name, and an estimate of when your next review cycle is.
What happens after you sign up
Once you submit the form, you're on the waitlist. You'll receive a confirmation and we'll be in touch shortly to get you started.
We're not just flipping a switch. A member of our team will reach out to walk you through setup, make sure the experience is configured for your org, and be available as you run your first review cycle with it.
What the beta onboarding process looks like
Every customer accepted into the beta program will receive guided onboarding before their review cycle opens. What that looks like depends on which support level you're setting up:
Basic (Writing assistance) Structure, prompts, and smart suggestions to help reviewers write with confidence. Built-in draft writing for more structured responses, plus AI that highlights strengths and observations from context.
Medium (Manager guidance) Everything in Basic, plus tools to help managers lead sharper review conversations, surface the right observations, and support development paths that stick. Includes manager coaching for review conversations and auto-generated IDPs.
Full (Rich context, recommended) Everything in Basic and Medium, plus drafts informed by real work data pulled from your connected integrations. This is the full picture: less recency bias, more specificity, grounded in how work actually happened. Onboarding requires connecting your integrations first and involves closer coordination with our team.
What we'll ask of you
Here's what participation in the beta program looks like on your end:
- Run the experience through a real review cycle with your team
- Share feedback with your 15Five contact during and after the cycle — what worked, what didn't, what was confusing
- Be available for a short touchbases throughout the beta program
- Flag issues as they come up rather than waiting until the end
FAQ
Do I lose my current AI Assist experience when I sign up? No. Your current experience stays exactly as it is until you are accepted into the beta and we manually enable the new experience with you. Signing up for the waitlist doesn't change anything.
What integrations do I need? None are required to get started. Basic and Medium support levels work without any integrations connected. The Full level pulls in real work data from tools like Slack, Asana, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and more — connecting those integrations is what unlocks that experience.
How long does the beta last? You'll have access to the beta experience for the duration of your review cycle. We'll be in touch before your cycle ends.
Who will I be working with during the beta? You'll have a dedicated point of contact from our team who will walk you through setup, check in during your cycle, and collect your feedback.
Can I choose my support level? Yes. During onboarding we'll walk through the options with you and help you pick the right one based on your setup and goals. If you're not sure, we'll help you select the right fit for your organization.
What if I have integrations connected already? If you already have tools like Slack, Asana, or Google Calendar connected in 15Five, you're in a good position to get the most out of the Full support level. We'll confirm your setup during onboarding.
Can multiple admins at my company sign up? You only need one person to sign up on behalf of your organization. Once accepted, we'll work with whoever is the right contact to get things configured.
What if something isn't working during my review cycle? Your 15Five contact is your first call. We're treating beta customers as a priority and will move quickly on issues that come up during an active cycle.
