Once your manager holds a final meeting to discuss your review results and finalizes them, you can "acknowledge" that these events have occurred. You also have the option to add a text comment to document any remaining thoughts. This process ensures clear communication, confirms that feedback has been received, and allows you to share your thoughts, fostering transparency and engagement.

How to acknowledge your review results 🧑💻
Note
Acknowledging your review results doesn't mean you agree with them. It means that you acknowledge that your results have been shared with you and you've had a performance discussion with your manager. If you disagree with your results, consider leaving a comment to provide context.
- Once your manager finalizes your review results, you'll be assigned an action item to acknowledge your review results. Clicking on the action will take you to the acknowledgment section of your review.
- Check the box next to the acknowledgment statement, provide an optional comment, and digitally sign your name. Then, click Yes, I acknowledge.
- Click on Best-Self Review® in the main, left-hand navigation bar of 15Five.
- Open the review cycle you want to acknowledge review results for.
- Use the filter to pull up your own review results. If you don't have a managerial or administrative role in the review cycle, your review results will be pulled up by default.
- Open your review results.
- You're now in the Summary tab of your review results. Scroll to the very bottom of the page to find the "Acknowledgement" section. Check the box next to the acknowledgment statement, provide an optional comment, and digitally sign your name. Then, click Yes, I acknowledge.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) ❓
You may not see the option to acknowledge your review results if:
- The "Acknowledge Reviews" setting isn't enabled in Best-Self Review® feature settings.
- Your manager hasn't shared review results with you (meaning you don't have access to your review summary yet).
If you're a review admin, cycle collaborator, or manager, you can use the "Acknowledgment" column in the Participants List (located on the Cycle Overview tab) to see who has and has not acknowledged their review results.
Review admins and cycle collaborators can also achieve this by exporting the Full progress report, which contains an "Acknowledgment" column and an "Acknowledgment feedback" column. Once a review cycle participant acknowledges their results, the Full progress report will list the timestamp the employee submitted the acknowledgment.
No— the review acknowledgment setting in Best-Self Review® feature settings is an "all or nothing" setting, meaning that it will apply to all active review cycles.
