Filter review results by demographic attributes

HR teams can filter Company Results by demographic data (including Gender, Race, Ethnicity, Salary, Age, and Tenure) to uncover any potential areas that might need a closer look. This allows HR to approach the subject objectively, with a data-driven approach, and save hours from manually cross comparing data.

  3. Open results for the review cycle.
    • If you don't have an administrative role in the review cycle, click on the 'Team's results' tab. It is at the top of your page, to the right of Overview, Peer nominations, etc.

    💡

    Tip

If the Demographics & people data filter appears grayed out, that means there was no demographic data in the system at cycle kickoff. But don't worry— you can refresh the demographic data! Please refer to the FAQs at the end of this article for steps on how to do so.

  5. Select your filters. Click into the 'Demographics & people data' filter to see available filtering options. Options are separated by attribute (Age, Ethnicity, Gender, Race, Salary, and Tenure), and filters selected here will apply to the entire summary page. Some things to note as you select filters:
    • If you select more than one data point within an attribute (for example, if you filter by race and select both “Black” and “Hispanic”), the data on the page will include results for all Black or Hispanic people.
    • If you select more than one data point across different attributes (for example, if you filter by gender and select “Female” and also filter by race and select “White”), the filter works a bit differently, displaying all results for people who are both female and white.
    • If there aren't any employees with a specific attribute value, that option will not exist in the filter dropdown. For example, if your company doesn’t have any employees whose race is listed as Asian, then there will be no option to select “Asian” in the filter dropdown.

      💡

      Tip

If desired, you can save a selection of filters as a preset. Preset filters allow you to save and reuse specific filter selections, including options from both the 'People' and 'Demographics & people data' filters. HR admins can also share preset filters with other HR admins, enabling your team to easily filter by key segments. Learn more.

  6. In the 'Private Manager Assessment' and 'Talent Matrix' sections of the 'Summary' page, you can also select an attribute under 'Compare by attribute' to view results by that attribute.
