Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) ❓
There are three available visibility options that you can select from when creating an objective: Public, 15Five permissions, and Specific people.
- Public: This objective will be visible to everyone in your company.
- 15Five permissions: This objective will be visible to anyone who can see your Check-ins, including global viewers. To find out who can view your Check-ins, you can use this link.
- Specific people: This objective will be visible to the objective owner’s reviewer, and any other groups and/or individuals that are specified, but are not visible to global viewers unless they are added as one of the specific people.
There are various reasons why you may be receiving notifications about an objective:
- You follow the objective
- You own a key result on the objective
- You're the objective owner's manager
- You are a member of a group that has permission to update and edit the objective
- You were individually added as a person who has permission to update and edit an objective
You can manage which notifications you receive in the "Following objectives" section of your notification settings.
Global viewership only permits you to view the objectives created with the "Public" and "15Five Permissions" privacy settings. It does not allow you to see objectives created with "Specific people" permissions.
To gain visibility into an objective, please reach out to the objective owner and ask them to edit the objective and add you as a viewer in the "Who can see this objective" field.
