Make an Invited User Eligible for Engagement Survey Participation

To participate in engagement surveys, individuals must occupy a billed seat in 15Five. Active users automatically take up billed seats, but you can also assign billed seats to invited users, making them eligible for surveys without requiring them to log in or accept their invitation.

Billing for users occupying billed seats is prorated based on the date the seat is assigned and the time remaining in your current subscription period. Learn more about how adding users impacts billing →


How to Assign a Billed Seat to an Invited User 👩‍💻

You can change an employee's seat status from the Manage people page or from their account settings using the steps below.

  1. Click People in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.

  2. Open the "Invited" tab at the top of the page. This tab contains employees who have been added to the platform but have not accepted their invitation, including employees who have not yet been sent an invitation.

  3. Check the boxes to the left of all users you want to mark as using a billed seat.

  4. Click Actions and select "Change seat status" from the dropdown menu.

  5. A popup will appear. Ensure the "Set to billed" option is selected, then click Change status.

  6. Once a person is assigned to a billed seat, they can be added to upcoming or active surveys.
