How to use the report 📊

  1. Apply filters. Begin by applying filters at the top of the page to customize your view. You can filter by people (individuals or groups), Check-in frequency, and time frame.Checkin-Report-Filters.png
    People

The ‘People’ filter lets you zero in on specific individuals or segments of your organization to view their Check-in submission stats. It's organized into five sections:

    1. By your org: Your direct reports and hierarchy
    2. By individuals: All employees across the organization
    3. By direct reports: Submission stats for a specific reviewer’s direct reports.
    4. By hierarchy: Submission stats for all employees reporting up to a specific person
    5. By group: Submission stats for all employees within a specific group. Groups are organized by group type.
    Check-in frequency

This filter lets you narrow the report to show only Check-ins submitted on a specific cadence—weekly, every other week, or monthly. It's especially useful if your organization uses different Check-in schedules across teams and you want to compare submission activity based on cadence. For example, you can filter to see how consistently monthly Check-ins are being submitted versus weekly ones.

    Time frame

The "Time frame" filter allows you to view submitted Check-in data within a specific date range. You can choose from preset options like last month, last 3, 6, or 12 months, or select a custom date range to analyze submission activity during a specific period that matters to your team.

  2. If you want to include currently submitted Check-ins with future due dates, check the “Include active Check-in data” box.

Tips and best practices 🌟

  • Track trends over time. Use the report to view Check-in activity over the past year or last three months to spot who’s consistently submitting—and who’s regularly reviewing. You can dive more into reviewing data in the "Reviewed Check-ins" report.

  • Connect manager engagement to team success. Look at how manager participation influences team Check-in habits. Engaged managers often drive higher submission rates within their teams.

  • Stay ahead of drop-offs. Keep an eye on your top submitters and flag anyone whose activity is starting to dip, so you can step in with support before momentum is lost.

  • Leverage streak data. Export Check-in data and look at submission streaks. This can help you identify highly engaged individuals and use that insight to boost adoption across the org.

  • Spot and share what’s working. Reach out to people or groups with the longest streaks to understand what keeps them engaged—and share their success stories with teams that are still ramping up.

  • Re-engage inactive users. Sort the report by “Last submitted on” to quickly see who hasn’t submitted in a while. Follow up with those who’ve dropped off—or have never submitted—to encourage them to start using Check-ins consistently.
