Configure Jira Cloud for Objectives

> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Objectives" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Connecting Jira Cloud enables automatic key result updates in 15Five when Jira issues change. When complete, Jira Cloud shows as Connected on the Integrations page.

Before You Begin

  • You must be both a 15Five Account Admin and a Jira Cloud admin.
  • This feature is available on the Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform packages.
  • Only one Jira Cloud instance can be connected per 15Five account.

Steps

  1. Go to Admin > Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click Enable to the right of Jira Cloud.
  3. Click Set up Jira Cloud Integration.

- 15Five redirects you to Atlassian login.

  1. Log in to your Atlassian account.
  2. Click Accept to authorize the connection.
  3. Return to Admin > Settings > Integrations and confirm Jira Cloud shows as Connected.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Redirected to Atlassian but authorization fails Confirm you are logged into the correct Atlassian account with admin permissions Log out of Atlassian, log back in as a Jira Cloud admin, then repeat steps 3–5
Jira Cloud shows as Connected but key results do not update Confirm at least one key result has been linked to a Jira issue Link a key result to a Jira issue; see Link a key result to a Jira Cloud issue
Integration was connected but stopped working Check whether any key result was linked within 90 days of initial setup — if not, the authorization token has expired Remove the integration on the Integrations page, then repeat all steps above; see Jira Cloud integration stops working after setup
