Export a PIP as a PDF to create a compliance-ready record. The export produces a full PIP packet including plan details, action items and their status, acknowledgment records with timestamps, the full activity log, the plan outcome (if closed), and HR-only sections (in the HR export).
Before You Begin
- Only HR admins can export PIPs.
- Export is available in all PIP states (Draft, Published, Acknowledged, Paused, Extended, Complete, Not complete).
Steps
- Go to Growth Studio > Plans.
- Click Performance Improvement Plans.
- Open the PIP to export.
- Click Export on the PIP detail page.
- If the Export button is not visible, click More options > Export as PDF.
Confirmation: A PDF file downloads containing the full PIP packet.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Export option is not visible | Confirm you have HR admin permissions | Contact your 15Five admin to verify your role |
| PDF does not include audit log entries | Confirm the PIP has recorded activity | An empty audit log produces no entries in the export |
| Download does not start | Confirm your browser allows file downloads from 15Five | Check browser download settings and pop-up blockers |
