Control who can access Growth Studio and configure PIP, IDP, and Nomination settings for your account.
Configure Growth Studio access
- Go to Settings > Features.
- Scroll to Growth Studio.
- Select visibility: HR Admins only or Everyone.
If employees or managers cannot see Growth Studio in navigation, verify this setting is set to Everyone.
Configure PIP settings
- Go to Growth Studio > Plans > Settings.
- Click Performance Improvement Plans.
- Configure available settings:
- Display name -- Customize what PIPs are called - PIP Stages -- Edit stage names - PIP Outcomes -- Edit outcome names - Reason tags -- Select available reason tags - Acknowledgment -- Enable at plan start, end, or both; edit acknowledgment text - Notifications -- Enable reminder notifications and set days before due date
Configure IDP settings
- Go to Growth Studio > Plans > Settings.
- Click Individual Development Plans.
- Configure available settings:
- Display name -- Customize what IDPs are called - Permissions -- Allow employees to edit or create IDPs; set hierarchy visibility - Approval -- Require approval before IDP becomes active - Reminders -- Set default reminder cadence
Configure Nomination settings
- Go to Settings > Features > Growth Studio.
- Click the Nominations tab.
- Configure available settings:
- Terminology -- Customize what Succession Nominations are called - Readiness levels -- Customize labels and time ranges - Retention risk levels -- Customize labels
Confirmation: Settings changes take effect immediately across the account.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |

| Employees cannot see Growth Studio | Access visibility may be set to HR Admins only | Change visibility to Everyone in Settings > Features |
| PIP display name not updating | Browser cache may show the old name | Refresh the page or clear browser cache |
| Nomination terminology unchanged | Changes may not have saved | Re-enter the terminology and verify the page confirms the save |
