Results visibility options π
Results visibility settings determine which engagement survey results a person can access in 15Five. There are two types of visibility you can assign: role-based and custom.
Assign visibility based on a personβs role in the organization.
Role-based visibility is based on a personβs role in the organization.
- HR Admins can view company-wide results and detailed results for all groups.
-
Managers can view engagement survey results for their manager group (direct reports) and hierarchy group (direct and indirect reports). They also have visibility into company-wide survey results.
Note
This is only the case if the "Manager visibility to hierarchy results" setting is enabled in Engagement feature settings (in-app link). If this setting isn't enabled, managers will not be able to view engagement survey results.
- Individual Contributors do not have access to any engagement survey results.
Assign tailored visibility to fit your organization's needs.
Custom visibility lets you assign a more tailored level of access to individuals who may not fall neatly into the roles above. You can grant one of the following:
- Full: Can view company-wide results and detailed results for all groups. HR Admins are assigned this level of visibility by default.
- Limited: Can view company-wide survey results.
- Limited + Groups: Can view company-wide survey results plus results for specific groups the person is granted access to.

One-Off

In Bulk- Check the boxes to the left of the individuals whose results visibility you want to change.

- When you're done, click Update.
- Click the three dots to the left of the employee whose visibility you want to manage and select 'Edit.'
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) β
You can access and analyze engagement survey results by following these steps.
Targeted engagement campaigns are campaigns that only include specific groups. To have visibility into results for a targeted engagement campaign, you must be assigned results visibility for the specific groups the campaign targeted.
Not by default. However, Admins can grant all leaders visibility into the engagement results of their hierarchies by toggling on the "Default manager visibility" option in Engagement feature settings.
This setting gives all managers visibility into engagement results for their teams and hierarchies. When enabled, managers can view results for their manager group (which contains their direct reports) and their hierarchy group (which contains everyone under them in the managerial hierarchy).
