What is Microlearning?

Microlearning in 15Five is a powerful tool designed to help managers build critical skills through bite-sized, practical learningโ€”right in the flow of work. Each video-based course includes interactive content that follows proven adult learning principles: managers learn best practices, engage in reflective exercises to reinforce those skills, and receive the resources they need to apply what they've learned in their day-to-day roles. This continuous, in-the-moment development helps managers grow without stepping away from the work that matters most.

Why we created Microlearning

We introduced Microlearning to our platform because we know how valuable improving manager effectiveness is on the three outcomes that are most important to HR leaders: Engagement, Performance, and Retention. These are the things that get the attention of the rest of the executive team and impact the business in a substantial wayโ€” and the best way to move the needle on these outcomes is through more effective managers.

Roles and Visibility

Microlearning is available to account admins and managers whose companies are on the Total Platform pricing plan. Microlearnings are well-suited for team leaders and first-time, struggling, and/or high-performing managers.

A manager's course completion is only visible to the manager themselves. For analytics, reporting, and visibility, we recommend upgrading to our Copilot & Content plan.
