An additional manager is a person other than a participant's direct manager who can write a manager review for that participant. Adding one lets multiple people contribute manager reviews within the same cycle.
Before You Begin
- You must be a Review admin or Cycle collaborator.
- The review cycle must already exist.
- You can add 1 default additional manager per participant and up to 5 cycle-specific additional managers per participant.
Add a default additional manager
A default additional manager is assigned at the account level and carries over across cycles. Default additional managers can also view all past reviews for their assigned participant if that visibility setting is enabled in Best-Self Review® > Visibility settings.
- Go to Best-Self Review® in the left navigation.
- Open Feature settings.
- Locate the participant and open their Edit Individual Review Settings page.
- Find the Additional managers section.
- Select Add default additional manager.
- Search for and select the person to add.
- Select Save.
Add a cycle-specific additional manager
A cycle-specific additional manager applies only to the current cycle.
- Go to Best-Self Review® in the left navigation.
- Open the active review cycle.
- Locate the participant and open their Edit Individual Review Settings page.
- Find the Additional managers section.
- Select Add cycle additional manager.
- Search for and select the person to add.
- Select Save.
If Something Goes Wrong
