Use this workflow to send a nudge to one specific participant rather than everyone who hasn't completed a timeline action. The nudge sends an email immediately after you confirm.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Best-Self Review® on the Perform or Total Platform package.
- Review admins and cycle collaborators can nudge any participant. Managers can nudge their direct reports only.
Steps
- Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Click the name of the cycle you want to send a nudge for.
- Confirm you are on the Overview tab for that cycle.
- Apply filters to locate the specific participant you want to nudge. See Filter participants on the Review cycle Overview tab.
- Click ... to the right of that participant's or review writer's name.
- Select your desired nudge option from the dropdown menu.
- In the popup, type an optional personal message for the nudge email.
- Click Send nudge email.
The nudge email goes out to that individual immediately.
If Something Goes Wrong

| Nudge option is greyed out or missing | Check whether the timeline action date has passed and the cycle is locked | Nudges cannot be sent after a cycle is locked; contact your review admin |
