Admins and managers can remove a peer, upward, or manager review answer from a participant's shared results. The answer remains visible to review admins but is hidden from the participant when results are shared.
> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Reviews" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Before You Begin
- Your account's Release peer and upward feedback setting must permit your role to remove answers directly. If it does not, use instead.
- You must have access to review results. See .
Steps
- Go to Reviews > Review Cycles.
- Click the name of the review cycle.
- In the Filters section, search for the participant's name.
- Click the participant's name in the Cycle Participants section.
- Click the Summary tab.
- Locate the answer you want to remove.
- Click the ... icon to the right of the answer.
- Select Remove from shared results.
The answer immediately moves to a red-highlighted state with the label Private to review admins. The review writer receives an email notification: "A [peer/upward/manager] review answer was removed by [name]."
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Remove from shared results option does not appear | Confirm your role has removal permission under Admin > Performance > Settings > Release peer and upward feedback | Ask a review admin to remove the answer, or use |
| Answer still visible to participant after removal | Confirm results have not already been finalized and shared | Unshare a participant's review results then remove the answer before resharing |
| ... icon does not appear next to an answer | Confirm the Summary tab is selected, not the Peer or Upward tab | Navigate to Summary tab; the action menu only appears there |
