This article explains how to send a High Five to a teammate directly from Slack using the /highfive command.
Before You Begin
- The 15Five Slack app must be installed in your Slack workspace. See for setup context.
- The recipient must have a Slack account using the same email address as their 15Five account. If the emails do not match, the High Five will not post to 15Five.
Steps
- Open any Slack channel or direct message.
- Type
/highfiveand press Enter. - In the command field, @mention the recipient (e.g.,
@sophiafresch). - Type the content of your High Five after the @mention.
- Submit the command.
What You Should See
The recipient receives a Slack notification. The High Five appears in the High Fives Feed in 15Five.
