Schedule an assigned 1:1 coaching session

Use this article to schedule a 1:1 coaching session after one has been assigned to you. When complete, a confirmation screen displays your selected focus area, coach, and session date and time.

Note: Coaching is available as a paid add-on. If you do not see a coaching action on your homepage, contact your Account Admin.

Before You Begin

  • You must have been assigned a 1:1 coaching session. To request coaching, see .
  • You must have access to the My sessions page in 15Five.

Steps

  1. Go to My Actions in the main left-hand navigation.
  2. Click Schedule a 1-on-1 Coaching Session in the actions list.

- If the action is not visible, click the All tab, then click Show filters and filter by Type: Coaching Session.

  1. Review the focus area displayed at the top of the popup.
  2. If no focus area was pre-selected, choose a focus area from the list.
  3. Click Next: Select day and time (shown in your own time zone).
  4. Select a date and time for your session and you'll get matched to an available coach.
  5. Click Next: Select coach.
  6. Select the coach you want to work with. 
  7. Click Schedule session.

- The new flow is used for both new sessions and rescheduling.

What Resolution Looks Like

A confirmation screen appears listing your selected focus area, coach name, and session date and time. This confirms your session is scheduled.

To add details to your session immediately, click View session details on the confirmation screen. See Add session details to a 1:1 coaching session for instructions.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
"Schedule a 1:1 Coaching Session" action does not appear Confirm a coaching session has been assigned to you Contact your Account Admin to verify the assignment
Action is not visible in the default actions list The action may be filtered out Click the All tab, then use Show filters > Type: Coaching Session
No coaches appear on the coach selection screen Your account may not have active coaches configured Contact your Account Admin
Confirmation screen does not appear after clicking Schedule session Network or session error Refresh the page and check My sessions to see if the session was saved; if not, repeat from step 1
