Share a feedback request with your manager

Share a feedback request with your manager to give them visibility into the responses you have received. When complete, the request shows a visual indicator confirming your manager can see the feedback.

Before You Begin

  • Your organization must have access to the Feedback feature (available on Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform plans).
  • At least one person must have responded to your feedback request. Requests showing Awaiting responses cannot be shared.

Steps

  1. Go to Feedback in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Set the People filter to your name.
  3. Set the Feedback type filter to Sent.
  4. Locate the feedback request in the list.
  5. Click the three-dot menu to the right of the request.
  6. Select Share with my manager from the dropdown.

What Completion Looks Like

After selecting Share with my manager, the request displays a manager visibility indicator confirming the share was successful. Your manager receives a notification that the feedback has been shared with them.

Note: If you later get a new manager, repeat these steps to share the same request with your new manager.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Share with my manager does not appear in the dropdown Confirm the request has at least one response — requests showing Awaiting responses cannot be shared Wait until a colleague has responded, then return to the request and select Share with my manager
Request does not appear in the list after filtering Confirm the People filter is set to your own name and Feedback type is set to Sent Reset both filters and reapply them in order: People first, then Feedback type
Manager visibility indicator is not visible after sharing Confirm you are viewing the correct request in the Sent filtered list Refresh the page — if the indicator still does not appear, contact your 15Five admin
