What notifications are sent during a calibration session?

Six calibration-specific notifications exist in 15Five: five email and in-app notifications and one to-do item.

Key Rules

  • Invited as a contributor to a calibration session — Email and in-app notification sent to all contributors except the session creator, triggered on session creation.
  • Calibration session locked — Email and in-app notification sent to all contributors except the person locking the session, triggered on lock.
  • Calibration sessions are due in 3 days — Email and in-app notification sent to all contributors 3 days before the Calibrations due by date.
  • Calibration session deleted — Email and in-app notification sent to all contributors and review admins except the person who deleted the session, triggered on deletion.
  • Mentioned in an activity feed comment — Email and in-app notification sent to the mentioned person immediately upon the mention.
  • Calibrate reviews in the [Session Name] session. Due in [x] Days. — A to-do item shown in Highlights and on the Cycle overview page for all contributors once they are added to a calibration session.
  • All six notifications can be managed individually in individual notification settings or company-wide in company notification settings.

Common Misunderstanding

The session creator and the person performing an action (locking or deleting) do not receive the corresponding notification — only other contributors and, in the case of deletion, review admins.
