Add and manage My Context

My Context is individual-level information that you contribute to make Agent outputs more relevant to you. Tell Agents what matters to you right now — your current priorities, how you prefer to work, what you are focused on. My Context flows into outputs scoped to you, like your Focus Brief.

Context is not a one-time setup. The more you add over time, the more precise every insight becomes.

Before you begin

  • Your organization must have Agents enabled.
  • You must be in the configured audience for at least one Agent feature (such as Focus Briefs) to see the Agents section in the left navigation.

Add context from the platform

  1. Select Agents in the left navigation.
  2. Click My Context.
  3. Add your context — priorities, working preferences, focus areas, or anything Agents should know about you.
  4. Save your changes.

Add context from a Focus Brief

When you receive a Focus Brief in Slack or Microsoft Teams, you can add context directly from the brief:

  1. At the end of your Focus Brief, click the Add Context button.
  2. Enter your context in the modal.
  3. Submit.

The context you add flows into your next brief, making it more relevant.

Manage existing context

In the My Context section of the platform, you can:

  • Edit previously added context to keep it current
  • Delete context that is no longer relevant
  • Resolve context items that have been addressed

What to include

My Context works best when it reflects what is true for you right now:

  • Current priorities — what you are focused on this week or this quarter
  • Working preferences — how you prefer to receive feedback, communicate, or structure your time
  • Development focus — what you are trying to get better at
  • Team dynamics — anything about your team or role that Agents should factor in

Who can see My Context

Only you can see your My Context. Managers cannot view their direct reports' My Context entries. The information shapes Agent outputs scoped to you (like your Focus Brief) but is not shared with others.

Managers can add their own context that relates to their team through My Context — for example, team priorities or how the team operates. This context influences the manager's own Focus Brief.
