-
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find the participant you want to manage peer nominations for.
- Click on the arrow to the right of the participant to manage their peers.
Approve peer nominations-
To approve all pending peer nominations, click the Approve all button to the right of the participant.
-
To approve peer nominations individually, click the down arrow to expand options, then click the approve button next to a peer's name.
- Nominated peers will receive an email from notifications@15five.com titled, "You’ve been nominated to review [participant]."
Tip
Hover over a peer nominee's avatar to see full details about how many times they've been nominated as a peer and how many peer nominations they've accepted. This information can help determine whether or not you want to approve them as a peer.
Deny a peer nominationTo deny a peer, click the Deny button next to their name. If you deny a nomination, you will then see the option to remove that peer from your direct report's list of nominated peers so that a new peer can be nominated in their place.
Remove peer nominations-
To remove a peer nomination, click the Remove button next to their name. This will remove the peer from the participant's nomination list so a new peer can be nominated in their place.
-
To bulk remove all peers who were denied or who declined their nomination, click the ... at the top of the peer list and select "Remove declined & denied" from the dropdown menu.
Note
You can remove peer nominations up until the peer has submitted their peer review. If you need to remove a nomination for a peer who has already submitted their peer review, please reach out to our Support Team.

To approve all pending peer nominations, click the Approve all button to the right of the participant.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
In the "Peer review transparency" section of Best-Self Review® feature settings, admins have the option to make peer identities fully anonymous to everyone in a review cycle.
When managing peers in a cycle in which peer identities are fully anonymous, the following logic applies to visibility:
- If a peer nomination is not approved, Review admins, Cycle collaborators, and Managers will be able to see the peer's identity in the "Everyone's Peers" tab. The peer's identity will remain anonymous in the participant's "My nominations" tab.
- If a peer nomination is not accepted by the peer, their identity will remain anonymous to everyone.
The icons represent the peer's nomination status. You can also hover over a person's avatar to see their peer nomination status.
Possible statuses are:
Accepted | This person has accepted their peer nomination and is responsible for writing a peer review.
Declined | This person was nominated to write a peer review, but either the nomination was denied or declined. These nominations can be removed so that another peer can be nominated in their place.
Pending approval | This person was nominated as a peer but hasn't yet been approved by a manager, review admin, or cycle collaborator.
Pending approval (with warning) | This status is the same as the "Pending approval" status but also signifies that the nominated peer has been nominated more than five times. We include this warning so that leaders can make informed decisions about whether or not they should approve a peer.
Awaiting peer response | This person was nominated and approved as a peer but hasn't yet accepted or declined the nomination. You can nudge this individual to respond to their nomination using these steps. |
You can only remove peer nominations in-app up until the peer has submitted their peer review. If you need to remove a nomination for a peer who has already submitted their peer review, please reach out to our Support Team.
