Remove a pending or declined peer nomination

Use these steps to remove a peer nomination with a Pending or Declined status. Once removed, the slot is free and you can nominate a replacement peer.

Before You Begin

  • You must be a participant in an active review cycle with the peer nomination step open.
  • You can only remove nominations with a Pending or Declined status.

Steps

  1. Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the review cycle where you want to remove a peer nomination.
  3. Click the Peer nominations tab.
  4. If you are a manager, click the My nominations tab to view your own nominations.
  5. Locate the nomination you want to remove.
  6. Click Remove to the right of that nomination.
  7. Click Nominate peers to add a replacement if needed.

What Completion Looks Like

After step 6, the nomination no longer appears in your peer nominations list. The total nomination count decreases by one, and the slot is available for a new nominee.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Remove button does not appear next to a nomination Confirm the nomination status is Pending or Declined If the status is Approved or Accepted, ask your manager to remove the nomination. See .
Peer nominations tab is not visible Confirm the peer nomination step is currently open in the cycle Contact your review admin to confirm the nomination window is active. See Who are my review admins?
My nominations tab is not visible Confirm you have a manager role in this review cycle If you are not assigned as a manager in this cycle, the My nominations tab does not appear. Contact your review admin.
