Approve, deny, or remove peer nominations for a participant

Review admins and Cycle collaborators can approve, deny, or remove peer nominations for any participant in a review cycle. Completing these steps updates the participant's peer list immediately.

> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see Best-Self Review® in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Review admin or Cycle collaborator access for the relevant review cycle.
  • The review cycle must have peer nominations enabled.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the review cycle you want to manage.
  3. Click the Peer nominations tab.
  4. Click the Everyone's Peers tab (managers land on Manage peers for your team by default — use Everyone's Peers to manage nominations for non-direct-reports).
  5. Use the search bar to find the participant.
  6. Click the arrow to the right of the participant's name to expand their peer list.

Approve peer nominations

  1. To approve all pending nominations at once, click Approve all to the right of the participant's name.
  2. To approve nominations individually, click the down arrow next to a peer's name, then click Approve.

What approval looks like: The peer's avatar status changes to Awaiting peer response. The peer receives an email from notifications@15five.com with the subject line "You've been nominated to review [participant]."

Tip: Hover over a peer's avatar to see how many times they have been nominated and how many nominations they have accepted. Use this to inform your approval decision.

Deny a peer nomination

  1. Click Deny next to the peer's name.

What denial looks like: The peer's avatar status changes to Declined. A Remove option appears next to the peer's name so a new peer can be nominated in their place.

Remove a peer nomination

  1. To remove a single nomination, click Remove next to the peer's name.
  2. To bulk-remove all denied or declined nominations, click ... at the top of the peer list and select Remove declined & denied.

What removal looks like: The peer no longer appears in the participant's nomination list. A new peer can now be nominated in their place.

Note: You can remove peer nominations until the peer submits their peer review. To remove a nomination after submission, contact 15Five Support. See .
