Assign Default Additional Managers via Bulk Import

Use the People Import tab to assign or update default additional managers for multiple employees in one CSV upload.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Account Admin access to the bulk import feature.
  • Assign default additional managers before a review cycle launches. Assignments made after a cycle starts do not apply to that cycle.
  • Each employee can have only one default additional manager.

Steps

  1. Click People in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the Import tab in the top navigation bar.
  3. Create a CSV file with exactly two columns: email and additionalmanagerwrite.
  4. In the email column, enter each employee's email address.
  5. In the additionalmanagerwrite column, enter the default additional manager's email address.
  6. Save the file in UTF-8 CSV format.
  7. Click Choose file at the bottom of the Import page.
  8. Select your saved CSV file.
  9. On the Preview import screen, review the pending changes.
  10. If changes look incorrect, click Start over to cancel and return to the Import page.
  11. Click Finish import to submit.

> The import can take up to 15 minutes to complete, depending on file size.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
