Grant a manager visibility into past performance review results

By default, a direct manager only sees results from review cycles where they served as the manager review author. Two settings let you expand that visibility without changing manager assignments.

Before You Begin

  • You must have an Account admin role to enable the Best-Self Review® visibility setting.
  • An Account admin, Review admin, or Cycle collaborator can add a review viewer for individual participants.

Option 1: Enable visibility into all past reviews (account-level)

Use this option to grant every direct manager visibility into all past review results for their direct reports.

  1. Navigate to Best-Self Review® in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Feature Settings.
  3. Click Visibility.
  4. Locate the Visibility into all past reviews toggle.
  5. Turn the toggle on.
  6. Click Save.

Option 2: Add a review viewer for an individual participant

Use this option when one specific person needs read-only access to a single participant's results.

  1. Navigate to Best-Self Review® in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the relevant review cycle.
  3. Click Participants.
  4. Locate the participant and click Edit Individual Review Settings.
  5. Scroll to the Review Viewers section.
  6. Click Add Review Viewer.
  7. Search for and select the person to add.
  8. Click Save.
