Use the Growth Studio Org Chart to view reporting structures, mark critical roles, and draft plans.
Access the Org Chart
- Go to Growth Studio > Explore.
- Click the Org Chart tab.
Navigate the Org Chart
Use these controls to adjust your view:
- Focus mode -- Narrow the view to one part of the organization.
- Chart mode / List mode -- Switch between visual org chart and list view.
- Find me in the chart -- Jump to your position in the organization.
- Expand all -- Show additional reporting levels.
Mark a role as critical
- Go to Growth Studio > Explore > Org Chart.
- Click an employee card.
- Click Mark as Critical in the right panel.
- Select a reason and add optional context.
- (Optional) Click Add a successor to go to Nominations.
Draft a plan from the Org Chart
- Go to Growth Studio > Explore > Org Chart.
- Click an employee card.
- Click Draft a plan in the right panel.
- Select IDP or PIP.
- Click Confirm.
Confirmation: The critical role badge appears on the employee card, or the plan appears in Plans with Draft status.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |

| Org Chart is empty | Growth Studio access may be restricted | Verify Settings > Features > Growth Studio is set to Everyone |
| Employee card missing | The employee may not have a manager assigned | Assign a manager in the employee's profile |
| Mark as Critical not visible | You may lack admin permissions | Contact your account admin to verify your role |
