> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see Objectives in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Use this article to link a key result to a Salesforce report. When the link is established, 15Five automatically updates the key result's current value as progress changes in Salesforce.
Before You Begin
- The 15Five + Salesforce integration must be enabled for your organization. Contact your 15Five account admin if the Salesforce option does not appear in the Link to dropdown. See for setup requirements.
- The objective you want to link must already exist, or you must create it during this workflow. See Create an objective for instructions.
- The Salesforce report you want to link must be publicly visible in Salesforce and must include a defined aggregate value.
Steps
- Go to Objectives in the left-hand navigation.
- Open an existing objective for editing, or click New objective to create one.
- In the key result field, locate the Link to dropdown to the right of the key result.
- Click the Link to dropdown and select Salesforce.
- In the drawer that opens on the right, type to search for the Salesforce report to track.
- Click the report name to select it.
- Select the aggregate value from the report to use for tracking progress.
- Click Link Salesforce report.
- In the key result field, select the metric format for the key result:
- Percentage (%) — tracks progress as a percentage - Dollar Amount ($) — tracks progress as a currency value - Numerical Value (#) — tracks progress as a number
- Complete or save the objective.
Confirmed: The key result displays the Salesforce report name and the selected metric format. The current value updates automatically each time 15Five syncs with Salesforce.
