Set up two-step authentication on your 15Five account

Two-step authentication requires a time-based code from an authenticator app in addition to your email and password when signing in to 15Five. When setup is complete, the two-step authentication status on your Security tab will show as enabled.

Before You Begin

  • Install an authenticator app that supports the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) protocol on your mobile device. Google Authenticator and Duo Mobile both work.
  • Two-step authentication is not available if your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO). See if the Setup button does not appear.

Steps

  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of your 15Five account.
  2. Select My settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Security tab at the top of the page.
  4. Click Setup to the right of Two-step authentication.
  5. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on screen.
  6. Click Next step and enter the code your authenticator app generates.
  7. Follow the remaining prompts to confirm setup.

When setup is complete, the Two-step authentication row on the Security tab displays a status indicating authentication is active.
