When a driver score is low, 15Five surfaces that result in your engagement dashboard and lets you attach a structured action plan to address it.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to the Engage feature.
- An engagement survey must have at least one completed response cycle before driver scores appear.
- Admins can act on any driver. Managers can act on drivers within their team's results.
Steps
- Navigate to Engage in the left sidebar.
- Select Results from the top navigation.
- Open the Drivers tab.
- Review the driver score list to identify scores below your target threshold.
- Click the driver name with the low score.
- Review the score breakdown and the associated survey statements on the driver detail page.
- Click Take Action.
- Select Choose a recommended action to browse 15Five's pre-built action suggestions for that driver.
- Click a recommended action to preview its description and expected outcome.
- Click Add to Action Plan to attach the selected action.
- Assign an Owner for the action.
- Set a Due date.
- Click Save.
- To write a custom action instead, click Create custom action at step 8.
- Enter a title and description for your custom action.
- Assign an Owner and set a Due date.
- Click Save.
- Return to the Drivers tab to confirm the action plan appears under the driver.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Take Action button does not appear | Confirm the survey cycle is marked complete, not in draft or active collection | Wait for the survey cycle to close, or ask your admin to close it |
| Recommended actions list is empty | Confirm you selected a specific driver, not the overall engagement score | Click a named driver (e.g., Autonomy) to access its action list |
| Cannot assign an owner | Confirm the intended owner has an active account in 15Five | Ask your admin to verify the user's account status under Settings > Users |
| Action plan does not save | Confirm both Owner and Due date fields are filled | Complete all required fields before clicking Save |
