This article explains how to use Manager Copilot to generate recommended talking points and add them to a 1-on-1 agenda.
Note: This feature is available to managers with Transform seats on the Total Platform pricing package.
Before You Begin
- You must have a Transform seat assigned to your account. Contact your admin if you are unsure.
- You must have at least one direct report with an existing or new 1-on-1 agenda in 15Five.
Steps
- Go to 1-on-1s in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the name of the direct report whose agenda you want to open.
- If no current agenda exists, click Create a new 1-on-1.
- Click Start crafting my 1-on-1.
- Click Recommend talking points at the top of the agenda.
- Review the talking points the Manager Copilot assistant surfaces on the left side of the screen.
- Click Add a talking point or Add a private talking point next to each item you want to add.
- Add a talking point — visible to both participants - Add a private talking point — visible only to you
- Edit the added talking point text as needed before your meeting.
What You Should See When Complete
The talking points you added appear in the agenda body. Private talking points display only in your view of the agenda — the other participant does not see them.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Recommend talking points button is not visible | Confirm your account has a Transform seat assigned | Contact your admin to verify seat assignment |
| Manager Copilot panel does not open after clicking the button | Check whether a browser extension is blocking the panel | Disable ad blockers or script blockers for 15Five, then reload the page |
| Added talking point does not appear in the agenda | Confirm you clicked Add a talking point (not just reviewed it) | Click the button again — the agenda updates immediately on click |
| Private talking point is visible to the other participant | Confirm you used Add a private talking point, not Add a talking point | Delete the exposed talking point and re-add it using Add a private talking point |
