Each question template section is available only for specific review types. The table below shows which sections appear in self & manager, peer, and upward question templates.

- Objectives only appears in self & manager templates when the Objectives feature is enabled in your company's review settings.
- Manager Effectiveness questions cannot be altered — they are fixed for benchmarking purposes.
- Competencies are not available in upward review templates.
- If a self & manager template includes Manager Effectiveness questions, only managers see those questions in the self review portion.
Common Misunderstanding
Selecting "Self & manager" as the review type does not require questions for both self and manager reviewers. You can untick the Self or Manager checkbox in the Template type section to limit questions to one reviewer type only.
