How to manage company settings
Tip
Are you more of a visual learner? Check out our "Configure Global Account Settings" video 🎥.
- Click on the Settings gear in the top, right-hand corner of 15Five.
- Select "Company settings" from the dropdown menu to open the company settings page.
- You're now on the "Company info" tab of Company settings.
Manage the following settings in this tab:
Company details- Company name: The name of your organization.
- *Company location: Your organization's home base.
- *Company timezone: The timezone that correlates with the location where your organization is based.
-
Maximum number of people: You will be charged for all active people in 15Five. Use this space to set a limit to control the maximum number of people who can join your 15Five instance, or select "unlimited."
Help Center article 💡: Set a maximum user limitNote
This setting is especially important if your organization uses SSO to manage account membership and has just-in-time (JIT) provisioning enabled, as that setting allows anyone in your organization to create a 15Five account by logging into 15Five via SSO.
* These settings are applied to everyone in your organization by default but can be customized one-off within a person's account settings or for multiple people via an integration or bulk import.
Import settingsEmployee identifier: Select whether you want to use email or employee ID as the unique identifier for your employees.
Help Center article 💡: Select an Employee IdentifierTip
We recommend using employee ID as the employee identifier. Unlike email addresses, which can change due to name or domain updates, employee IDs remain constant. Selecting this option prevents account access issues or duplicate accounts caused by email changes.
Invite settings-
Who has permission to add people to this account? Decide which roles would be able to add new users to 15Five: everyone, only account admins, or account admins and managers.
Help Center article 💡: Set restrictions on who can invite new users -
How should 15Five handle invite emails for bulk imports? Choose whether users added via bulk import should receive invite emails immediately (granting instant access) or not receive automated invites, meaning you'll manually send invitations when you're ready for them to have access to 15Five.
-
Invite email (subject line and email body): Use these fields to customize the invite email that's sent to new users.
Help Center article 💡: Customize the content of invite emails
Company valuesIn this section, you can add your company's values. Company values are the guiding principles and beliefs that shape the culture, decision-making, and behavior of an organization.

Tip
In 15Five, company values can be used as hashtags in High Fives and used to assess performance in review cycles. Learn more.
Company customizationLogo: Upload your company's logo if you'd like for it to replace 15Five's company logo in the top, left-hand corner of your organization's 15Five account.
- Next, click on the 'Notifications' tab. Here, you can manage what notifications are enabled by default for your employees.
Notifications are organized first by feature (Check-ins, 1-on-1s, etc) and then by type of email (activity updates, reminders, feature information). Use the arrow to the right of a section to expand the notification list.
Check the box under "Enabled" to enable a notification, or uncheck the box to disable it.
To open a preview of a notification, click See details to its right.
- Finally, if your organization plans to use Single Sign-On (SSO), use the 'SSO' tab to set it up.
Single Sign-On is a user authentication method that adds security to the employee login process by allowing them to log in to any number of service providers (such as 15Five) through a single login profile. Refer to our "Single Sign-On (SSO)" Help Center article for more information and setup instructions. - The Company Settings page also contains three additional tabs that admins can utilize to manage their accounts, but that don't include configuration options. You can read more about these tabs below:
VacationsUse the 'Vacations' tab to set company-wide vacations for your organization. Please note that the sole purpose of vacations in 15Five is to skip Check-ins for all employees, not as a point of reference for your team to see when upcoming days off are.
Tip
If you'd like to create a vacation for an individual or group, rather than the entire company, check out our "Skip Check-ins with vacations" Help Center article for instructions on how to do so.
ExportThe 'Export' tab allows account owners to download a CSV that contains all company Check-in question and answer history. This report expires 24 hours from the time of creation.
Note
Due to the sensitive nature of the information contained in this report, only account owners can export it. If you are not an account owner and want the ability to export this report, please have one of your current account owners reach out to our Support Team and request that you be made an account owner.
