- The "Manage actions" tab (in-app link) allows you to create, manage, and track actions for your team— streamlining task management and providing organization-wide clarity on priorities.
Note
The "Manage actions" tab is only available to skip-level managers (i.e. managers who have direct reports who are also managers).
Use the "My actions" tab
The "My actions" tab of manager homepages contains three sections: My team at a glance, the Actions List, and the People List. Continue reading for a deep dive into each of these sections.
The "My team at a glance" section helps you elevate your effectiveness as a manager with high-level insights that impact your team’s growth, performance, and engagement.

Science
Research shows that it's important to become aware of when we're happy at work so we can clearly identify the type of work that makes us feel great— which is usually work that builds on our strengths. Conversely, it's important to be aware of times employees are less happy and identify the work issues and/or roadblocks employees are facing.
The Actions List serves as a comprehensive list of things you're responsible for and enables you to work with your team to prioritize tasks, engage in impactful conversations, and remove obstacles.
Note
Three categories of Actions may appear in your Actions List: User Actions, System Actions, and Bulk Actions. Read more about these action types.
Here, you can achieve the following tasks:
By default, only actions due during the current week are shown on your Actions List. Click "All" to see all actions.
You can also apply filters to your Actions List by clicking Show filters at the top of the section.
Filtering options are:

- Assigned by: Use this filter to see Actions assigned to you by a specific person.
- Impacted person: Use this filter to see Actions you have with a specific person.
- Status: Use this filter to see open, completed, expired, or archived Actions.
From the Actions List, you can create actions, discussions, and blockers. Once created, they'll appear on your homepage.
- 📋 Actions are tasks that you need to complete. You can create either public or private actions. Actions that require further discussion can be easily added to 1-on-1 agendas as action items.
- 💬 Discussions are important topics that you need to reflect on or collaborate with your team on. Creating and engaging in discussions you make progress daily, even outside of Check-ins and 1-on-1s. You can create either public or private discussions. Discussions that require face-to-face conversation can be easily added to 1-on-1 agendas as talking points.
- 🚫 Blockers are things to surface with your manager that are preventing you from completing your work. When you create a blocker, your manager is immediately notified so they are aware of the issue and can help unblock you as quickly as possible. Blockers are visible to both you and manager and are automatically added to your current 1-on-1 as talking points upon creation.
